Welcome to Garage Guys Gunsmithing and Engraving! At the heart of our operation is Terry Tanner, a seasoned professional with a lifelong dedication to firearms and craftsmanship. Terry brings a wealth of experience and expertise to every project, ensuring your firearms receive the care and precision they deserve.

As a former Marine and retired law enforcement officer, Terry understands the importance of reliability and performance in every firearm. After years of distinguished service, he further honed his skills by graduating from the Modern Gun School as well and numerous continuing education classes. With many years of hands-on experience, he has become a trusted name in the firearms community.

Terry used to be an avid competitive shooter, regularly participating in pistol competitions. Although he is no longer active in competition, his firsthand experience gives him unique insights into optimizing firearms for accuracy, performance, and personalization.

Terry is sharing the business experience with his son, Nicholas "Nick" Tanner, while teaching him the craft. Nick primarily handles laser engraving and is quickly becoming an accomplished and competitive clay target shooter. Together, they bring a blend of tradition and innovation to their work, ensuring each project reflects the highest standards of quality.

At their home-based shop, Terry and Nick provide a welcoming and professional environment where they are always happy to meet with clients.
